for a new clutch and light weight flywheel! yay! i just picked up a cherry picker from a friend at 6:30 this morning. off to an early start. does anyone have any special tricks hints or tips on a clutch job? i have already elected to pull the motor, rather than muck around under the car. :smt026

yes. very much better to pulll the motor instead od the trans.

do all the seals back there while your at it.

done! in 3 hrs. my first impressions were.. stall! :smt017 alright more gas... :smt023 got it. i already have about 20 miles on the new set up and i like it. but the pedal is kinda weak sauce but im expecting it to firm up over the break in period.

wow.. it only took you 3 hours? damn.. i wish i had a cherry picker! I still needa get my stuff installed. Did you go with the FF02 lightweight flywheel? How you like it so far? Seem to rev up much better and such? Also.. did you do the seperator plate and such on the back.. as well as all the seals? hope so!

yeah revs way faster, and damn was stallin left and right at first. but i got it down now. engine came out in the first hour, super fast. i got the 13 lbs flywheel from f1.
only problem now is that my used proecm chip is not working, has any one had a faulty chip? i didnt think they went bad.
