[/b] Hello all, Im Deej from Colorado, Estes to be exact. I got my car off my X-girlfriend's dad who was selling it a great price used (his wife had it a month). Its a 2004 Legacy Outback wagon. Im really glad i found a site devoted to the love of Subaru Legs. My baby is the standard 2.5 no turbo, I havnt done any mods other than stereo stuff. I have a Alpine head unit, MB Quart components in the front doors, MBQ 2 way's in the back doors. They are driven by a 4 channel Audiobahn amp. I have two Alpine 10 inch Type R subs running by way of a 900 watt Audiobahn amp. I'm looking forward to hearing from people on this site to see what I should do first. I still have the warranty and don't really want to break it as of yet, since I dont have another car, and its worth it in my eyes. What are some things I could do that wont void the warranty? And where, PLEASE tell me where to get a set of the clear headlight/turnsignals that i see on all these websites? thats one thing i want to do to the apperance. I also want to do small performance stuff (intake, exhast, ect) The mountains here are crowded with Subs, and i want mine to really pop and stand out, not just by looks but by form and function as well. Thanks alot for my rambling, im really excited to get involved in the group, and learning more about my car!

Welcome to SLi

It looks like we can help you :)

Take a look around (emphasis on the DIY forums) for some stuff you can do :D

Welcome. I'm from CO as well. HFSDevil has a similar model year car as yours and I believe he just did the oven baking mod to clear his front turn signals. I'm not sure if that modification has a write up here on SL-i, though I'm pretty sure its over on www.nasioc.com (http://www.nasioc.com).

Exhaust shouldn't void any warranty except anything that would be covered for the exhaust (ie: headers, catalytic converters). I am not sure about the intake though. Never owned a car with a warranty

Welcome anyway!

Welcome!

The clear headlights you see are the DIY "bake" mods - you bake the headlights @ 250deg for 7mins and then pry them apart...

First thing to make the car stand out - slightly lower springs and some nice wheels - followed by a nice burbly exhaust.

handling - get yourself a rear strut and swaybar, and some new tires.

How you do it is up to you! :D

Can you do the same thing with the rear tail lights?

nope, those aren't amber reflectors, they're amber colored plastic. You'd have to get EDM/JDM taillights. They can be had on ebay for a fairly nice price.
