So my BG is making a weird noise and i can't figure out what it is. It sounds like a grinding or dragging noise. You can kind of feel it too, only happens when the car is moving not when idling. I'm thinking it might be the brakes, I just had them completely redone over the summer with all new pads and rotors. I am not sure but it seems like its coming from the back of the car. Could this be anything with the drivetrain (like the rear differential) or is it more likely a brake issue? Are there any common problems I'm not aware of? I need your thoughts guys. If I have to put any more money into this car I probably won't, I like legacies but my BG is a bit of a money pit considering it is completely stock.

i had that noise when the wheel bearings went bad, i could feel it a little too, just jack the car up and grab the top and bottem of the tire and see if it wiggles or something, and see if it spins freely, thats wat i would do

Could be the rear brake dust shields...

Forgot to mention the car feels a little sluggish when accelerating. I'll check what legacy98gt said tomorrow. The brakes should still be under warranty from when I had them done. So I'm bringing the car to the shop and have them look at it on Monday.

From my experience that sounds like a bad wheel bearing or two.

wheel bearing FTW.... Jack your car up and see if the wheel has any play top to bottom. If you can move the wheel(towards and away from the car) when gripping at 12 and 6 it's a wheel bearing issue. The sound could be the rotor rubbing on the caliper bracket, that's what happened with my horribly shot FR wheel bearing.
