Hey! i think its about time i jumped on here and made a members page. I first learned of my current car thru the phone. i was resting peacefully when i was awakened by annoying cell ring. ( i use the most annoying one so i wake up faster to shut it off, answer a txt or call, etc.) i was just about ready to let it go to voice mail when i said...eh...F*** it. picked up and the actual convo followed:

Me: hello?
Unknown #: Hey are you loking to buy a car?
Me: Uhhhh yeah.....but who is this??
Unknown #:Good! i have a car you may be interested in!
Me:okay... but who is this??
Unknown #: The car is at (ACTUAL ADDRESS!!) 124 shady lane.
Me:uhmm okay, i'll check it out. i'll call you back when i check it out ok?
Unknown #: (call ended)

I told my friend about the call and he said that there actually is a shady lane in my town so we checked it out that day.
I called the guy up, name was dave, agreed to 900$ and on 4/20 i had a 1995 subaru legacy L AWD with 148K miles on it.

I have no pics of when i FIRST bought it but i do have some from B4 i did any work to the body damage (which by the way there was alot)

then i joined up here, read the headlight cleaning technique and said f*** it and gave it a chance. results were awesome.

Then i got my JDM lights, but due to money concerns they didn't last long

After that i did in order. tinted tails, GT hood, Snowflakes, GT sway, and GT spoiler.

FAQ: WTF is wrong with the back of your car?
A: my car was involved in an accident b4 i got it so thats why the back looks all F'ed up.
Q: Uhhhhh black Rear Bumper?
A: again, there when i bought it, pretty sure its from an old toyota...idk, the normal bumper wouldnt fit (i tried)

Future Project Plans: 04 Forester springs and struts for a nice 2-3" lift. Outback Front Bumper. Hella lighting assembly (goin for four to six 500's) :twisted: :twisted: :twisted:

umm that legacy is AWD, and your rear diff is leaking lol

its a 95 L FWD. unless the badging and VIN# and electrical system are all misprinted on the car lol which i doubt.

Not all legacies are AWD.. they did make some in FWD. It the 2.5 or a 2.2? 2.2 im guessing right?

you got it 2.2 16V SOHC. i dont believe they made 2.5 FWD haha that would be crazy amounts of power goin into the wheels sense
the 2nd gen 2.5's give out 155 HP stock. (of course its bHP but still)

Look at your REAR Diff, CV shafts and driveshaft coming back to it.

yeah i was going to say the same thing it has a rear Diff. so yeah that's how it is sorry about that.

How's an AWD supposed to feel? Only time I can really "FEEL" my awd working is when cornering really hard or when cornering on slippery stuff. Whose oorah sticker on the windshield?

true true, idk the car is a frankenstien. i got zero info on the car when i got it and one place told me it was an FWD.
makes no sense i know. kinda pissed now actually lol. happy that it is AWD but still. how much of a dip do i look like haha
eh its w.e im more of a body cosmetics rather then drivetrain. yeah, i gotta start studying up. and the semper fi is for my brother,
but thats another story.

i decided to get off my ass and install these. after too many trips back n forth to home depot i said F it and just used a random hacksaw
i found in my friends garage. making the brackets was a whole lot easier then i thought.
