quetion about tweeters

so, i cant find my search button??? it seems to have gone missing. Im trying to find out if tweeters from a BD will fit in my BE

any help before i buy them please!

No they won't fit quite right. If you don't mind them being a little off, go for it.

^ yeah.. they look about the same.. but are the 00-04 ones longer.. wider.. or what? They look like they may be a bit more slim then the BD series ones.. however, I'm not sure.

TBH, I don't have any close up pics of the tweeters, and the pics I have that shows the tweeters, I don't know if its the BD set I had before or the BE set I have now... :razz:

There's a slight gap at the top edge (about 1/8") and the BD tweeter is slightly tilted, that you will only notice when the door's open. Theyre basically the same size, but the little plastic pegs that hold them in place are slightly different. If you give a good whack to the BD tweeter they'll sit in place, but they won't sit straight like a BE tweeter would...

EDIT: ok, I think this was early enough that I was still using the BD tweeter...
