Ok, so I'm having a lil bit of difficulty finding some steering rack bushings for my BH. Boxer4racing cant get them for 3 months from Superpro. I know that others have used Whiteline and I went to the site but cant find any for my model. Aren't they interchangable with other models? If so, what part # should I be getting? :smt017

I'd believe they "should" the same as Gen2 (BG/ BD) but cannot be 100% certain
If they are the same, you also need to measure the brackets under there as some are 25mm wide and some are 30mm wide.

Thanks for your input. I've read that there are 2 different sizes. I guess i'll have to look under and measure. I was hoping that someone with a BH thats done this upgrade, would chime in here and give me and other BH owners some insight.

its the same as the 2.5rs steering rack, the 30mm IIRC. The 25mm is for RHD cars.

So, I ordered the 30mm. Hopefully these will work. Dale @ boxer4racing was saying that he had someone get them before and they didn't fit! Superpro has a set specifically for the BE/BH, but they take 3 months to get since they have to make them. Now I guess I just wait for the brown guys to get here with my bushings so I can attempt the install.... I hope they fit!

yeah, I called baxer4racing when I had my engine out, they didn't seem sure enough then...so I said wait and if I do something that i need them I'll do them then. would have been super easy when I had it up on jack-stands and the engine out.

I didn't have any problems when I installed it on my 03. Other than the usual issue with the square bushing being a PITA to get out. Otherwise it fit just like it should. Just got to remember you 00-04 front end is basically the same as a GC 2.5rs LHD, there aren't that many "special parts" up there...the rear is a different story though.

Boxer4racing is nice as being a centralized place to get parts, but theyre far from being the be-all-end-all of subaru parts. You couldve tried someone like Oakos or something for superpro bushings.
