Erratic idle

When my car is at full operation temperature and When my heat is on full blast (and MAYBE on low I didn't check) the idle is erratic. It will stumble from 500rpms to 200rpms. Sounds like it want to stall but hasn't yet.

+ 1 on the vac lines. My truck did this for the longest time after changing spark plugs and fuel filter. It was a really small vac line that got diconnected. Do you also feel less power while accelerating?

If the heat is off it is fine. I haven't worked on my car since it's last oil change. :-(

coolant temperature sensor might be giving false readings. I know that's how it goes on the BC's - rough running engine, etc.

You know what, that might be it. My heat is all screwed up, but didn't know if all or some of the symptoms are from the failing headgaskets.
