anyone have any recommendations for plug wires or is there no real difference??

Magnecore make 8mm wires but I've never used anything but OEM.

Digi-any difference in NGK vs OEM?

I don't think there is a difference except that they are quality OEM plugs. Probably of better quality then subaru brand wires no doubt. However I really don't know .. I'm not sure what mm the wires are, or what the wire is made from.

I think the ngk's are 8mm like the magnecore, regular wires are 7mm. I used bosch wires before (just some OEM stuff I got for $35 off ebay) and magnecores, didn't really notice a difference running either one...
