View Full Version : This header should work? Good deal??

Will this OBX header work on my LGT? It looks very similar to the knockoff ones. I can get it for around 100 bucks. Good deal?

^^word. just buy a new one. but i know that obx is a knockoff company but i think there quality is better then the ebay ones. plus you wont have to pay or wait for shipping

offer $80 for the OBX one, heat wrap it, and call it good.

That is what I am working out with him right now. I see obx go new for $250-300 so 100 shipped is good deal I guess. I want to get quality for a cheaper price than new ebay ones so that is why I was looking.

Not OBX. I might get them real cheap with new gaskets though depending on mileage.

Found out that they are not stainless, but he will throw in new oem gaskets. I can get everything shipped for 90 bucks. Good deal?

I am thinking it may not be worth it now.

not SS and from an unknown brand :smt011 don't get it. buy a new one from speedyracer on eBay

As for the one you are asking - if it's not stainless, what is it? All the headers are made the same way, I can't imagine someone is out there with an iron one. It only looks dirty - take a wire wheel to it or have it blasted, then hit it with some nice engine paint.

Alright then I am just going to pull the trigger on these. Hell 40 bucks for just the headers isa good deal!

They are stainless (I had a feeling) and I am getting them for the same price. You can close this thread now.
