The 2.5rs wing looks really good and flows well with the leggs. There is a guy (or two ) that has this done and it is........... :smt007. Love that color btw. Time to cut a wrx or sti hood scoop into that L hood!

the wing just doesnt flow with anything on the car you can tell it wasnt made for that car. find a stock one. as for the scoop please dont do it unless you are actually swapped. there isnt any need for a scoop.

(feel free to give me tips, they're very much appreciated.)

Paint the Jambs and do/put whatever you want on it. In the end, you own/drive it so it doesn't matter what we think.... which btw, I think you're off to a good start.

quick idea of first future mods (feel free to give me tips, they're very much appreciated.)
-suspension
-Tint
-fix spoiler
-rims & tires
-exhaust
-interior

Order fixed. Trust me on this!

Car looks fantastically clean, will not take much to make it look/handle amazing!

I agree with huffer, I didn't mod my car in that order. Kinda wished I did but money was kinda holding me back.
I like how even the mud flaps are painted to match, that's pretty awesome.

i understand what your saying i kinda feel the same way but i dont have the money right now. not to say i cant have my opinion but if you were in my shoes would you just take it off? or wait untill i can change it.

for the scoop, i just really love the way the GT's look, i think it adds alot to the appearence but yes it would be useless.

I thought it was pretty cool too, but since they are made of plastic (i think?) they have started to chip at the bottom. doesnt bother me though i can just get them touched up sometime in the future.

Now, I'll say it again. I like the start and I'm interested in seeing another WRB BD modded. But your in for some work.

:smt018 I don't think they were painted correctly... meaning off the car,in a paint with flex additive. They'll flake constantly if not, and you'll be "touching them up" frequently. Don't be surprised if you have to stay with those mudflaps on permanently to keep the body uni-colored.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here.... and rarely do I ever, but I'm gonna say something is wrong.

You get what you pay for.

Where I've worked a car would have to be torn down of it's lights, moldings, roof racks, mudflaps, both bumpers, doors, trunk, hood etc... in order to get a color change or take it somewhere else. You're semi-saved if your inclined. Semi meaning, You have to do the labor yourself, but save some coin in the end.

Your engine bay can be easily cleaned up, masked off and painted (black or WRB) by yourself. Just go about it the right way.

Just curious, did the previous old lady who owned this chose to paint it that color? If so she's got good taste.

Ive seen an STi v7 wing on our BD's and I really enjoy it, I'm looking to doing it sometime. Most likely next year, but as for the 2.5rs wing, 2.5GT did it to his BD, check it out!

Huffer
02-08-2010, 12:34 PM
Weld them closed, or install a new spoiler that reuses the same bolt holes. Make sure the surface is clean, and seal it with silicone when you install to avoid any rust getting in.

for cheap mods i would do a neon coil pack, a home made grounding kit, gut your muffler or get some washers and put them right before muffler and just bolt it on and if you dont have emission testings gut your cat and get some spark plug non flouers so it wont throw a cel , maybe spray paint some interior parts just to make it the way you like it, its always fun to do stuff to your car it makes you appreciate it more, theres alot of tips on the diy section on this site or on nasioc.com, i think you should change the spoiler to a newer one, the big ones, i think that would look nice or go with a gt spoiler thats wat i have
