A lot of people are confused and amazed by the boxer design of our engines. I find it as normal as a inline or V. Maybe its just that the car yokels around here dont see a lot of subarus

well, the fact that they can't see the block right on top probably throws them off. Just tell them that its porsche technology, and they'll ooooh, aaaah all over the place ;)

screw porsche, its a subaru! you might as well call it a volkwagen if you're gonna do that.






i see boxers as normal too. well, kinda. they hold thier own place in my heart :lol:

I like the boxer engine for its symmetry and momentum dynamics.

Naturally, and engine that sits lower to the ground is going to lower the center of gravity of the the car, and help it handle better...screw inline/V designs :twisted:

and then there are the spark plugs... or anything to do with the heads...
