hey guys, ive gotten both motors out of the 97 legacy and the 97 outback.
only problem ive ran into so far is on the donor motor i was removing the essentials and that T fitting in the PCV lines that comes from the block, and goes to the PVC valve just crumbled.
i had a site where i could find nice diagrams, but cant find it again, HELP?
and whaddaya spose i can go down to the local parts store and find one, or is it a dealer only?
i dont want to try and remove the other one and break it too.

that thing changes diameters like no other, good luck @ the hardware store but my money os on the dealer, if you can find an intelligent parts guy.

i have one floating around. but its brittle and 17 years old... its dealer only piece, and special order, unless the dealer randomly stocks it

edit:
Anyone have picture of said crumbling piece? I'm interested to see what it looks like.
I'm not sure what you are really talking about.. but if its a piece on the block, you could always try to find the thread size and then use those specs to get something that threads into that. of if its on a pipe.. some fitting from a plumbing store may work?
also.. is the site your looking for http://opposedforces.com/parts/
or
http://opposedforces.com/parts/legacy/u ... ntrol_pcv/ (http://opposedforces.com/parts/legacy/us_b11/type_4/carter_ventilation_recirculation/emission_control_pcv/)

its not a pice of the block... just a plastic piece that if you find the PCV valve thingy and follow that down to where it Ts, thats what im talking about.
i got a standard T from the autoparts store and some oversized radiator hose. i think it should work.

Yeah.. you can get stuff from places like home depot etc that will work as well. hopefully you can get it figured out.. shouldnt be too hard.
