I'm wondering what the idle is supposed to be at. I can't find my Haynes manual. I'm more interested in what the idle is set at in cold climates, but will take anything. I think mine is too low, maybe thats why it pulses, it gets annoying. If I had cams it wouldnt bother me, I just know theres a problem.

600-800rpm with no load, 800-900 with A/C on

When the car is warmed up and with the heat on its at around 750rpms

750rpms is fine. What is it when the AC is running?

My AC belt is off, the AC is coming out of the car :-)
