The best legacy to buy?

Am wondering if people could give me some recommendations?

Am thinking along the lines of the forth edition of the BE5's though, very keen for one of them

I like the 1st generation, they are cheap and easy to work on and parts are plentiful depending on where you live. Those turbo motors are very sturdy and can handle a LOT more power than they came with. I like how my 2nd generation looks - it's like a more modern interpretation of the SVX. But if I had the money I'd go with a 4th generation spec B. Easier to tune than the older ones and more aftermarket support. But I'm biased towards the 1st & 2nd gen's that I own. ;)

Best for what? If you want speed, you get the lightest chassis available, or the one with the most powerful factory engine? Or both?

"Best" is very subjective. Cost wise, 1st gen is cheaper.
5th gen is best for luxury items
2nd gen is great for swaps and the bodies are usually in good shape

I did not like the drive by wire throttle in the 4th generation Spec B I drove.

Plus in New Zealand the turbo 2nd - 4th gens are probably all twin turbo setups, which people either have a love/hate relationship with.

Perhaps 1st gen is the best, you get the EJ20G!

Since you're in New Zealand, most of us here would say the car in your avatar (assuming it's a twinturbo) is the "greatest."

Am looking for comfortability and a bit of speed too, but nothing to gas guzzling, thats why I am looking at the twin turbo version. Mine is twin turbo but am looking for something abit newer and economic, though I have a rfrb bumber coming for it.
