Hello Sli folks!
My name is Erik, and I live just a bit northeast of Monument, Colorado. I am currently a bartender at Red Robin restaurant. I've been lurking around for the past few days now, and thought it time to introduce myself...
I have owned a legacy for about 3 years now. My first one was a '96 L wagon passed down from my mother. I asked to take it as my current ride was an'03 Dakota R/T ext cab truck, loads of fun, but not really that great in the snow, and less great on gas... The Legacy was pretty much the antithesis of every vehicle I ever owned, not the sport model, not a stick, not a coupe, (not FWD :smt023 ) etc, but I fell in love with the car!!! The handling for such a "pedestrian" car surprised me, it mos def could have kept up with some of my "sportier" rides of past. I knew I would get another when it was time to pass her on.... That time just came this tax season, and instead of dumping a ton of money into the Battle Wagon (a common name for these things, it seems :wink: ) , I decided to get a new ride (The BW had 320k miles on her and a ton of body damage)... Loving the gen 2 Leg sooo much, I went with a '98 OBW, 30th Anni, Limited. Seems to need head gaskets, but I love this car, and have big visions for her future!!! Already have lots of inspiration from here (the Hooptywagon, wow!!!). Hope to get to know some of you and get to know my way around here in time!!!
