Okay, so I guess I'm going to start one of these logs for my Legacy...
I purchased this L sedan in about 2003 at a dealer auction. Prior to closing my doors, the purchaser of this car came back to me with a financial problem and asked for help. Since I was going to be needing a non-project car anyhow and only had FWDs lingering around I jumped at the opportunity to take this car back!
I have since taken it to several corners of the US and hope to one day take it to the rest. At this point I have put nearly 200K miles on her myself and can't wait to one day see it roll-over :)
She's not all that pretty lately, mostly due to people who are incapable of driving around parked cars at very low speed. For example, the most recent damage seen below was done by a woman at a gas station... I might have lost my leg if my reflexes were not faster (pulled it up just in time)...

I made the doors functional again, but they are still ghettotastic. I was also just sort of test driving the other blue. I want to treat the areas beginning to show rust and paint the whole thing in the spring. (probably sticking with this color since I'm indecisive)

...the car was also in a state of "perpetual acceleration" and the suspension neutralized movement in just 7-8 bounces!
So, I put on a STI suspension with COBB Sports in it:

Now it doesn't bounce at all! :smt023 and it actually has a nice stance, it still looks a bit odd just due to the snow and my odd driveway. Most importantly, it handles great! Now I just need to suck the wheels in to an acceptable (-) camber.
