car hesitates to start after noen coil install

i installed a neon coil and sometimes it hesitates to turn on but it does after a few seconds im just wondering if this is normal or if the coil i got is bad?

sounds like you may have the wires backwards or something... though, I'm not sure because I don't have the coil myself. Something is wired up wrong, or the plugs are plugged in wrong.. or something. Thats what i'd guess.

How many miles on the coil. Coils fail over time too.

not sure how many miles on the coil i got it from a junk yard and the car i got it from didnt have the gauges but the engine bay looked pretty clean, and i dont think i got the wires mixed up or it wouldnt start at all, it does start and runs good but just cranks more then it used to

Did it always do this since you put the coil in? I had a similar issue after installing the coil. It fried my #4 spark plug. So I replaced all the plugs and have been fine since.

now that i think about it it started right after i installed my new plugs maybe ill get some new ones and see if it goes away

i fixed it, it was the spark plugs
