Hello to all i have a 99 legacy 2.5GT limited and need some help..
Bare with me a little I have owned 9 rotarys and 2 piston engines...
I am getting ready to do a boat load of work to my car and have been doing some reading and here is a list i have gathered so far.I am keeping this car for a Daily driver..Please add to the list if i have missed something...
Heads redone
Headgaskets
Timing Belt

Header
Exhaust
Oil Pump
Some sort of tuning???
Some sort of suspension???
Some sort of brake options???
Any help or suggestion's would be awsome!

If you want the factory service manual... check out my sig. May help you along the way. Good luck man!
btw.. if you are pulling the engine.. try to do AS MANY of the seals as possible.. because they will leak eventually. Rear main seal, cam seals, etc. Also might want to consider replacing the idler pulleys as these go bad very often and can really screw up your engine when your timing break / skips (happened to me).

if you have money to spend ;)
kartboy shifter bushings, PITA to install but completely worth it
get long runner headers (more trq) but you will need a different cat section like this:
http://www.amazon.com/OBX-Header-98-05- ... B001UKWUMA (http://www.amazon.com/OBX-Header-98-05-Subaru-Impreza/dp/B001UKWUMA)
tuning options: PP6
suspension, it really depends on the direction you want to go, kyb gr2 struts and h&r springs are a lot better than stock but is still wife approved
brakes for a dd, i'd do the H6 rear brake mod, stanless lines, and a good set of pads,

Thanks guys!!i have already downloaded the FSM and from what it looks like im gonna need it...i think i already have a short shifter but not reallt sure, the shifts are pretty firm and the shifter doesnt have much movement...
As far as the pp6 is it just a piggy back or is it just like a flash program?
Suspension side i have been looking at a couple set of coilovers but not sure yet.....
Brakes I havent gotten there yet...Just looking for ideas...

a PDM CLUTCH SLEEVE wouldn't hurt either while ur in there.
there is also a plate (cant think of the proper name for it) next to the rear main that u should repace and seal.
the clutch sleeve can be found at www.tarmac-usa.com (http://www.tarmac-usa.com)
