Random check engine light.

I tried searching but i couldn't find anything on this Specific code. I was driving home tonight and all of a sudden the check engine light popped on. I stopped, checked the code, and with my code reader its a P0136. Now the car i drive is a 98 leggy L with around 153K on it. The website says (P0136 Subaru O2 Circuit (Bank 1, Sensor 2). The car is mostly stock except a fart can the previous owner had installed. My question is, is this the rear o2 sensor or the front one? I would assume its the rear o2 sensor seems as how it says Bank 1 sensor 2. If i am wrong, which i could be, let me know. And is it fairly assumable that the part may just be bad due to the lifespan on it or is cause of the fart can? I have never had this code come up. Thanks for any help.

Yes that is the rear oxygen sensor, behind the cat. It probably has nothing to do with your muffler, it's probably just that the sensor is old and needs replacing.

Cool. I ordered one and hopefully it will be here soon. I cleared the code to see if it would come back up but hasn't so far.
