Hey everyone.

I'm on my second Subaru. Number one I purchased from my brother for $500 bucks when my timing belt went out on my old car. (Integra) It was a 92' Legacy Wagon. It was a blast to drive and lasted to just shy of 300,000 miles. Subaru's reliability and AWD are what make them so attractive to me. The timing belt finally went on that car due to a bad idler pulley, so I started looking again and found a 1995 Legacy "Outback". I hadn't done my research and thought I was getting a real outback when I bought it. Now I wish I took my time. Oh well. It's a blast too. Great for Minnesnowta winters. So now i'm interested in upgrading things as these cars are just a little underpowered, and that's where you all come in. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'll try to post pics sometime too.

Thanks. Jordan.

Welcome, northwest suburbs here. Why'd you give up on the old one? Didn't it have an ej22?

It did. One of the idler pulleys went bad. Not sure how but the threads in the block were messed up beyond repair. I tried, but the car must have had another issue because is just wouldn't start. And the car was old and with high miles and I only paid $500 for it, so I wasn't too upset.
