swapped motor now light flashing, help?

so i swapped the motors from the 97 legacy to the 97 outback and the other way around.

the legacy now runs like a champ etc. ive just finished getting the black one together, i hook up the battery and the turn signals start flashing, and every light in the car is flashing in time with them.

the guage backlights, the heated seat lights, the window switches, everything...then they will stop...then start up again..

any ideas? im pretty lost on this one.

Should be a yellow sticker near your battery under the hood that would have explained that. :)

My friend did the exact same thing. And he owns a Subaru, too.
