Which bulb would be yellower?

I brought these about a year ago from autolumination and I was looking at these bulbs on ebay that are all yellow glass.

i have the ones on the bottom from ebay that are all yellow glass and they light up my fogs as if i had yellow film over the fogs all the time, they are straight yellow, not hinted at all. I don't know about the top bulbs you have there but the bottom ones are pretty intensely yellow

I just noticed just about all those ebay yellow bulbs are 100W My fog lights are on a relay but still I wonder if that's safe.. and the funny thing is the 100W is cheaper then the 55W bulbs.

I don't know too much about electric stuff. So i'll just tell you what it says on the page of the guy i always buy off on ebay.

It says draws off a 12v source thats all I get. Dudes name is Mega.Racer on ebay and based outta cali. The bulbs I use are the colored yellow bulbs and they are in my usdm foglight.

depends on your wiring and what housing you plan to put then in. You put a 100w bulb in a harness and housing that was already being maxed out by a 55w and youre looking at a melted/cracked housing or even an electrical fire.

And voltage means nothing. Everything needs to be 12v to even remotely work on a car. You're looking at amps, you run higher wattage, you need bigger wires to draw that kind of power safely.

well I'm just saying, the stock wire harness to the fogs are like 16-18g wire most of the time. To take advantage of a full output of 100w bulb youre best bet is to run a relay from the factory wiring to a 12-14g wiring harness and power the higher wattage bulbs that way. It's also safer...win/win in my book.

Yeah I know what you mean I'm just saying I don't have factory stock wires in I'm using whats leftover from those overpriced PIAA foglights if push comes to shove I will make another wire harness as I have too many relays laying around from DIY programming projects.

So the bulbs arrive today.. 100W my ass.. a sing bulb is pulling 5.2A which seems to be a bit low for a single bulb.

If I'm right if the bulb was really 100W a single bulb would pull around 8.3A?

Get the Nokya 55W yellow bulbs on eBay. They are the best and brightest yellow I have seen. Been running them for years, love them.

8.3A is assuming the light is getting 12v exactly.
Prob should draw between 6.8-7.4 amps assuming you're providing somewhere between 13.5-14.5v to the lights.
I think I was getting 12.8v to my lights last time I checked, so sad. :-(
