hey, so in this piece of crap outback, my heater core leaks.

i ran a hose from one of the tubes coming off the motor to the other tube coming off the motor, essentially bypassing the heater core.

the problem is, i cant get the hose not to kink a little bit, i even got one of those spring things to keep it from kinking.

my quesiton is, since i did this, or even if i capped both lines off.

will this cause uneven heating/hot spots in the motor?

i guess i dont know enough about the internals of the subaru motors to know if this will cause damage or not.

i dont really know why im worrying about it cause this motor already had bad HGs, but i would like an answer for the record.

thanks guys.

i believe that it's a bypass for when the thermostat is closed
