Cool little bolt on Cold Air Intake

Hey, just a question if anyone has looked into this or anything.

Would this nifty little cold air extension bolt on to stock air piping instead of the air box?

cut the flange off, get a rubber coupler, done...though as always if you're going to hack up a brand new part, it better be cheap...which that one is not.

I think he was referring to bolting it on to a model equipped with a MAF sensor, so he would need to keep the flange since the MAF sensor has a matching flange where it bolts on the air box.

It looks like it could potentially fit, but aren't there cheaper options available?
