Hey guys,
I've got a 2003 legacy with 5speed and lately the engine has been acting up pretty bad. When I accelerate the power just kind of drops out right around 2500-3000 rpm and the engine kind of bucks. It doesn't do it all the time but when it does it's pretty bad. I changed my fuel filter yesterday and was planning on changing the spark plugs to see if that got rid of the problem but I only got one done due to a crappy set of sockets. Today on my way to work it was doing it really bad and then my check engine light came on. It seems to be worst when the engine is under strain such as going up a hill or just starting out in low gears. Everything I could find said fuel filter/ injectors or faulty spark plugs. I'm going to get the code scanned tomorrow morning to see what it's throwing up but in the mean time if you guys could give me your thoughts to ease my mind it would be greatly appreciated. I'm really hoping it's just faulty plugs becuase if it's not I don't know what else it could be.
