Fuel pump trap door?

Pulled my back seat up ( I have a wagon)

But I cant find the trap door for the fuel pump, where is it?

its under the rear hatch carpet,just behind (not under) the rear seats. passenger side i believe.

its there. i just looked at my wagon. behind rear seat.
1.pull up rear cargo/trunk carpet
2. (standing at the back of the car looking in)...there is a wood/cardboard looking thing under the carpet.. just before the back seats.
3.there are two round black (plug/clips) holding the (wood/cardboard) down.
4.remove (plugs/clip).. then remove (wood/cardboard cover thing)
5. fuel pump cover plate is right next to passenger side strut tower
i had your same problem when my fuel pump quit on me. i almost thought the gas tank need to be dropped, lol had a full tank too.

Thank goodness Subaru was smart enough to do this. Pulling the gas tank on an AWD car sucks ass.

shoot it sucks to drop any tank.
At least it did on my crx, and 81 celica
