Building braces

So Ive seen a few threads lately about trying to fit under car chassis braces off of wrx's and what not onto different gen legacys. Now I was wondering in which areas bracing would be beneficial?

Im pretty sure that I have access to all the necessary materials and tools and enough know how to fab up some braces of my own instead of buying something from another car and trying to make it fit.

So what materials would be best to use? And which areas under the car would be the most beneficial to brace?

Make a Rear lower tie bar/arm brace and a front lower A or H brace with the same mounting points as the ones on ebay, GT-Spec, Cusco ect... but make the metal fit with the N/A exhaust and cross member.
