Welcome!
Put two 2.5s in it that would be nice! Seriouslt thought what are you looking to do? Do you want to stay n/a (like me) or go turbo?
1. The most common swap is the wrx turbo swap. There are a bunch on here that have done this swap.
2. You could do a 05+ LGT swap. This can get very expensive to find a good engine or just a block.
3. You could be like me and do a Eg33 swap and stay n/a. V6 240hp engine.
There are more that I can not think of like the ej22t swap. Just do someresearch and peek in a couple of ride threads.

want to go turbo. twin turbos sounds cool. heard it wasn't too difficult; my understanding is that theres a few things, like steering column location, and a couple other things. keep seeing the twin turbos for sale on ebay, makes me think of the possibilities. any ideas would be much appreciated. thanks.

V6 240hp engine.
Watch yo mouth son!
Don't believe what you hear about the "ease" of a Twin Turbo swap. Go to the swap discussion board on this site to read up more. In all honesty, it's not worth it to convert a USDM non-postal Legacy to be able to support a EJ20TT. You'd be better off swapping in USDM WRX engine. You can make the same amount of power, if not more plus you won't have to deal with the steering column, brakes booster, and JDM ECU. When people do swap in twin turbo engines, they do it to postal cars...

well, since reading further and agreeing that a single turbo would work just as well if not better than a twin...i guess i'll start looking. oh, yeah, hey, what should i be lookin' fer??? :smt023
