What do you Think? ... DIY Front Lip on BE

Just finished up my DIY front lip, started to Rain, havent really seen any BE with it so i tried it out really quick. What do you guys think? Cant wait for my paint to dry so i can get my STI Hood on my car. Not so sure on the LED Fogs i put in, they are pretty much just for looks as my 4300k HIDs brighten the road up well enough i cant tell if the leds are on or off. You have to seriously bend down to knee level to even see or notice the led bars in there since they are tucked way under the bumper.

i like it, is it a garage door seal? i have the same thing on my car its holding up pretty good, i like it on your year looks nice

yeah its the garage door stuff... i spent extra $8 on a stick of 6' aluminum 1/2 wide for suporting the underside so its rock solid. The 3m tape stuck only in a couple areas. I sanded and preped it too, it isnt going anywhere now.

i just used that tape stuff and put in a couple screws and i pulled up a little to far on a couple curbs and it hasnt even torn this stuff is tuff lol

i did this lip to my old bugeye and im going to do it to my bros GF. you cant beat for the price, super ez diy that makes a difference

That's pretty interesting. I'd certainly like to know more about how this is done - I've never seen it before, but I can do some searching. I'd say it looks pretty decent for a DIY.

It's pretty popular, I think you're the 4th or 5th BE/BH that I've seen with it.

well 1st off this was my beginning option, butttt after reading I herd it was ?-97 integra type r lip, the 98+ for the mugen lip. One guy had the type are in a thread states this but I didn't want to buy lips and find out it doesn't fit also you do have to mod the lip a little to fit I herd. The HD lips looks great, cheap, and doesn't look too ricer but more oem. I'm happy with mine!

The only fabrication for the Integra lip was 2 "L" brackets to hold the ends of the lip to the bumper. The rest was self-tapping screws and a heat gun to bend the lip to the contours of the bumper. Took me an hour to fit. Although my buddy with the BE GT doesn't like how low it is and how it doesn't flow with the side profile of his car. This is reason why I am looking into the Home Depot lip for him.
