Havent got a clear answer on what my final drive is. TZ102ZACAA is my tranny code. wondering what would be best for a 5sp swap.i know whats needed for the swap just what i should be pulling the 5sp out of.

I'm not sure where to find a tranny decoder, but I've written in several thread about which trannies have what finaldrive. So long as your not going to turbo your car, a 5-speed from either a 2.2 or a 2.5 car should be sufficient.

if you take the trans and rear diff out of the same car you wont have any problems.

if you check your rear diff there is a code stamped on it, if that is the same as the one on your donor car you shouldnt have any problems.

1997 2.2L with 4EAT,

you have a 4.11 final drive.
