I thought I saw a thread here on how to do it but can't find it, and AllData is down so I can't look at wiring diagrams (I LOVE DIAGRAMS!!!).
Got a long ride coming up next week and wanted to make my cruise cruise on my cruise.
Gonna tackle it tomorrow.

Not saying I know the exact answer for your problem, but I found that an 4eat cruise control computer would light the button up but wouldn't actually engage on my 5mt, so I held out for a 5mt-specific one, which worked perfectly. Did you put a switch on your new clutch peddle? You need one. The brake peddle switch can come from your automatic pedal box. My car was prewired for all the CC switches.
Something I remember people telling me about 4eat-5mt swaps is that you still need the TCU plugged in for ABS and Cruise, but my memory could be faulty. I've never done that swap myself, just helped friends fit the tranny and pedal box.

You need a MT ECU to get rid of the CEL and a MT ABS Comp if you want ABS.
The TCU can be completely removed.
The cruise can be made to work without switching to a MT Cruise Comp.

PERFECT! Thanks! I got AllData working and found that yeah, just pin 3 and 4 are AT specific, and as long as they are out of the equation, it should work. Will try today.
Don't care if it revs up if I push the clutch in, I always disengage the cruise with the brake or the switch anyways.

UPDATE:
Okay, so when I swapped the car, the cruise didn't work. Theeeen one day I decided I wanted to make it PROPER and NOT start without the clutch pushed in, so I wired the clutch switch to the neutral safety switch circuit.
Never thought to try the cruise after that, but that's all it took to get it working.
Good thing I checked before I started cutting wires and whatnot....
