yes it is. i moved the air filter to right under it to get some good air. later i turbocharged it and the plan was to put an intercooler there. my buddy and i was going to sell them. the website is:

love the zr2
its a love/hate relationship. i love the noise and power and its capability. but i hate the poor reliability and having to constantly fix everything.. for example i copy and pasted this from my service record for that truck.

lol i agree. i bought that thing for 6 dollars lol ran it in to all kinds of things then sent it to the junkyard. i may be hard to see in the picture but we smashed the windshield and replaced it with a piece of plastic. we beat the CRAP out of that thing. i went to the junk yard a year later and it hadnt been touched and it started and ran fine lol

lol at the astropile. That is probably my least favorite modern vehicle. Pretty much everything about them sucks. So it is somewhat therapeutic to see one (intentionally) trashed like that :)

oh and update on the whole truck thing, it now needs two O2 sensors, ABS wheel speed sensor, tires, and an alignment. i just keep fixing and things keep breaking faster than i can fix.

I owned a non zr2 2dr blazer, and in the 6 months, spent over $2000 in parts for the damn thing, oil cooler lines, ball joints, ect, ect. Sold it for the legacy, still wish I had a zr2 5spd though, I <3 the the 98+ S-10's

with some upgrades they have the potential to be awsome machines but stock they are just ok. for example; s10's are notorious for ball joints and other suspension problems so putting a solid axle is worth while. but all in all i think the S10s major down fall is the little stuff. like the door bushings going out all the time and the seat lever on every s10 i have ever seen is broken, along with the 3rd door handle is always broken cuz they are made of plastic rather than metal, and the radiators crack (the guy at the radiator shop didnt even have too look to know where the crack was or anything. he knew. he says he probably changes more of that radiator than any other.) and plus the whole front suspension was crap. ball joints go out no mater what. and the frames crack all the time too. but other than that its been a good truck.

my mom has a 98 astro with 206k and full time AWD, not the part time ones from the 99-05 ones, that thing, yes it has had its problems, but myself and my 3 brothers all learned how to drive on it and beat it to hell, and she still runs good, my mom currently commutes 100 miles a day in it and the CEL is on for the front o2 sensor but it has been a good van. also the vortec motors, ie, 4.3 in your S-10 uses a lot of fuel pressure and you have to replace your fuel pump every 100k or so, so says the many mechanics we have talked to.
