View Full Version : anyone herd of "prokar" auto lifts?

so im interested in getting a two post auto lift i i came across a brand called prokar for a good price.
but i dont want a car falling on me. so does this company have a good reputation?

Haven't heard of them, but my neighbor found an auto repair shop going out of business that sold him their heavy duty lift for several hundred. He had to make a foundation for it, but it's pretty sweet.

alot of the dealerships around here that have closed recently are selling there two and four post lifts for real cheap. maybe you could look into that?

most of those lifts are cheap anyways. all it really is is some type of hydraulic pump with a locking mechanism correct? Thats what i have seem on most of them. You can also get the mid rise ones for under 1k if you just wanna do body stuff, or just suspension/ wheel stuff i suppose.

i have no idea. i just started looking into it this week. i know i want a two post and to raise the bottom of the car to almost 6 foot.
