I currently have a 2005 2.5i Legacy Wagon. To replace my aging rally Neon, I am looking at a 2001 LL Bean Outback with the 3.0H6. Any one have thoughts/experiences with this particular Subaru?

well i have heard on the h-6 you have to jack the engine out of the car to change spark plugs >.<

^^You sorta have to do that with the DOHC 2.5....

The H6 is a great engine. It uses a timing chain instead of a belt and makes about 210-215hp. They're smooth as butter, but Dodik on here can tell you more. He's got an 02 H6 sedan.

as long as its a subaru you cant go wrong..... unless its a tribeca

I have had no problems changing spark plugs. All you have to do is remove the windshield fluid container and the battery.

Yup you just need the right length extension.

Thanks for the input. i ended up buying an Impreza for my wife and regaining custody of the Legacy...let the games begin.
