What wiring has to be removed from my LGT and from where? Does it all have to be taken out? This is for my Eg33 swap. Has anyone ever removed a bulkhead harness or any other wiring harness in their car? Any help or diagrams would be great! Thanks.

I like your enthusiasm for this project. What you need is a subscription to a site such as: http://techinfo.subaru.com/html/referenceHome.jsp and maybe alldata. You'll need wiring pinouts for both cars so you know what wires from the svx's engine harness need to merge with what wires from your car's harness.
To be honest, I would pay someone to do the wiring, such as the guy who helped StatGSR. This will free you to work on the other technical/fitment issues of shoehorning the motor in. But that's just me. Good luck

I am in touch right now with some guys and waiting to hear back. I believe all the wiring that goes to the engine and ecu have to come out and that should tie in with the svx wiring. It shuould just be one harness tied together right?

hop on nasioc and look for a guy named zephyr, he's a wiring guru and does it for pretty good prices. Ton's of people have used him and i've heard nothing but great things. It will make your swap a whooole lot easier.

Awesome man thanks for the info. I just had a guy come over that has done a bunch of svx engines and has done a bunch of leggy engines. Hopefully this goes faster now. He has a pearl svx so I am going to pay him in parts!
