Thanks progress will probably be slow, but I'm trying.
nice bk man, how the hell did you find wrx seats for 25 $..i was looking to find some myself..
craigslist. guy wanted $50 for front and rears. I offered 25 for fronts only. I buy the front as planed. before I get in my car he offers me the rears for free  I wasn't even looking for seats to go in the wagon.
I was planing on making the fronts work in my old CRX, but realized they were to big.
looked them over and thought these might bolt right in my wagon. sure enough, fit like a glove.

Nice looking subie. Love the seats. I plan on either going with WRX seats or BE legacy seats for mine. Some snowflakes would look really good on that. Especialy if they are gold. 5 spoke RSs wouldn't be bad either.

^^thank you
yeah I'm loving the seats, always out looking at them too, lol
I've been looking for some wrx wheels, and suspension with no luck so far.
I know this guy that has wrx wagon and has upgrades his wheels, exhaust, and suspension. I'll try and get him on the horn.

so how was the fittament on the rear seats??? i have the same seats but they dont really fit well...
subie/legacy
03-18-2010, 08:26 AM
it's a tight fit, but it really wasn't much work to make em fit.
the most time consuming part was removing some of the interior so I could do the needed drilling.
anyways heres some pics so you could judge fitment yourself.

Wing looks nice!
Quick question. When you moved the latches for the Impreza seat-backs how did you mount them? Were there existing bolt holes or did you have to drill/tap new holes.
subie/legacy
04-03-2010, 12:16 AM
chaksq: I drilled new holes. sprayed some spray paint and used silicone to help prevent rust. bought some bolts and washers for $0.69.
Zues: I was more worried about hitting the wires. I tore the rubber boot that protects the wires, but lucked out and didn't hit any wires, lol
Thanks again for the heads up on this wing.
Navi: Thanks. I saw what a different it made on your wagon. So I had to have one
Finally took some pictures that weren't in my driveway.

COOL! better output than your headlights?! I believe it. Those projectors freakin rock. You should get projector headlights too! haha...
Do you have your sidemarkers wired for turn signals? parking lights? BOTH?
Looks good!
subie/legacy
06-27-2010, 04:23 AM
Thanks Navi.
I have them wired as Both. my head lights have poor output, but still in good shape so I will put projectors on hold.
the head lights on my old 96 L, were so bad. that I was basically driving almost blind at dark. Lol

Navi271
09-20-2010, 12:52 AM
"cool" 14" wheels
but they are! The paint color is great. If I had those wheels on my car stock, instead of the steelies like both of us had, I would totally still be using them!
subie/legacy
09-20-2010, 01:05 AM
I know right..I think they will be great wheels, and once I find something a little bigger (LGT, or WRX wheels) when I have extra $$.
The 14's will get the studded snow tires mounted on them..
Navi271
09-20-2010, 01:52 AM
Yeah! That's a great idea. I kinda want to use my old steelies for winter rims and then use the snowflakes I have, and use as winter rims now, for summer wheels. I'd sell my 17's then, but I still have great winter tires for my snowflakes. I'll have to use up those tires before getting new winter tires for the 14's...
you want some fancy 17's?!?! lol
subie/legacy
09-20-2010, 03:46 AM
I'd have the same problem. my all seasons have great tread left, and I really don't drive as much as most people.
probably averaging around 100-150 miles a weeks. getting bigger wheels is out of the picture for awhile, unless I come across a deal that can't be refused.
On a different note, I might have found a rear wagon lip.!. :D
Navi271
09-20-2010, 05:51 PM
dangit! That's so lame! Buying and selling wheels can be a pain sometimes. And my tires on my 17's are getting low on tread! So i gotta figure out if I'm getting all seasons for the 17's or the 16's.
Yay! Now you'll have the complete kit!

@ Mike-- Yea.. Its an OEM 04 WRX catback exhaust..
The only thing I don't like is the big side wall on this size tire.. Feels like there's to much flex..
@Navi-- I know.. I want it all to be installed already, but I'm waiting for my buddy to have some free time so I can use the pit in his shop..
No pic, but I installed the cargo area carpet from an outback.. Its so much better then one peace of carpet, and now I have tie down hooks in the back too.. If you seen 95 L cargo carpet, and 97+ outback cargo area then that last sentence might make some sort of sense

I guess when driving on a gravel road, roughly 30-35. I heard some hits, but wasn't to concerned.
Drove 2 more miles home. Parked went inside to bed.
woke up, we to leave, walked out to that mess above.
Appears to be oil pan (hoping) but was to angry to crawl under to see the damage.

@gecko - there was a hole in the oil pan, and finally fixed it.
I just used self tapping screws on the bottom, gonna redo them though, after seeing how others installed theirs

Get all the proper clips and such, and try to install them like the factory did.
I believe Navi did it the right way.

To clarify you can see pics of exactly what I used on my side skirts in my members ride thread, page 3.
I used self tapping screws on the bottom; this is where you need the proper OEM clips if you want to do it right. On the sides I used universal body panel retainers I bought at O'Reilly which is the right way to do it.

Believe me I was, but it could've been worse.
Nothing new really. 15" wheels for now. My 14's decide to get a big bulge on one of the side walls.
Oh and my car quit making that terrible HLA noise. Got to love it when your car fixes istself..

Removed my factory rack, and installed my yakima ones.
Unsure if I like it, maybe its cause I don't have a fairing for it yet.
