sick man thats a good choice, sti says "im a teenager that wants the girls at school to think im cool... and i wanna go fast." legacy GT says "im mature but i still like to go fast" IMO.

I disagree on the sti front. How many teenagers can afford an sti? I think the car you are thinking of is a mustang.

Good choice on the LGT though. Lots of potential.

Maybe we live in an upscale community but parents buy there kids STIs all the time here. Mustangs are common along with F-150s, chevy trucks, and cummins turbo diesels.

when i was in highschool i had to buy my chevy beretta from my folks, hence the comment in lord Fs thread about how they suck.

the slowest 2 liter ever. "cool" door handles tho.

Mustangs, Chevy trucks, and turbo diesels are common everywhere. The thought of kids being bought STIs as play toys pisses me off.

Just hit up NASIOC, it seems quite a few WRX & STI owners are HS or just graduated. :-(
My 1st car was a 2001 A4 that I bought outright in 2002 - after saving up during my HS years and always borrowing the 'rents car. Guess I could have afforded a beater much earlier, but I bought what I wanted. Course I totalled it 3 months later but thats another story. :-(

Had the turbo GT been available back in 02 I probably would have gone for that instead. Nice choice!

i get pissed when parents buy their kids shitty dodge cummins and they beat the crap outta it mudding and what not. i mean i get to drive a legacy 1997 L wagon. and when i save up enough money i WILL buy a subaru. definately an ej22. idk what exactly but when the time comes ill figure that out

yeah its annoying.. i live right next to the high school, so i see what all the high school kids drive.. there is a kid that lives not to far from me and he just turned 16 and he drives a 1969 trans am firebird with a 400 big block, and its MINT. absolutely cherry. i mean WTF? who lets their 16 year old son drive a car like that?
3 years ago I was driving a 1986 2WD 2.8L V6 Reg. cab chevy S-10 to high school (granted it was pretty cherry for a 86 s-10) but still.... life is so unfair... man if i could have had a car like what kids are driving today!

i know what you mean! I had my hand my down legacy wagon for high school and kids had their nice new cars... rich kids.... didn't even start modifying til I was in college. Still just gets worse. Lots more college kids with sti's, really freakin nice brand new audi around here too. Oh also there was a brand new evo driving around, how do they afford it? PARENTS!

You are better off. Seriously. I know several people who had their parents give them everything money could buy when they were kids, and now that they are "adults" they don't know how to take care of themselves out in the real world, so they still have to live off their parents.

Nice new car, very pretty. A friend of mine just bought one just like it from someone on here. Those are my 2nd favorite gen of Legacy ;-)
