03 wrx springs in 97 legacy.

hey guys ive been looking around and no one has really answered my question as to if i can put 02-03 wrx springs into the struts of my 97 legacy. ive learned that 03 wrx suspension will fit right in. but im wondering if i could swap tein wrx springs into my BD struts and use my top hats? now i need new tops anyway so would it work if i bought 03 wrx top hats and springs and poped them into my stock struts? the struts have less then 20k on them and id hate to waste them.

dude, please let me know if you get this set-up working...i've got a '96 gt and need options for shocks and springs...also, I'm looking for '96 gt fog lamps ( small round ones ) or an aftermarket HID headlight set...just in case you might know where I can get some...thanks in advance...

MY01-02 WRX (&STi) springs will fit on LGT top hats
03-04 WRX (and STi) will fit on the front top hats fine, but the rears will need to be swapped for the tapered spring design.

however i cannot comment on the differences in lower spring perch height and spring rates and what effect that will have on your ride-height

are they MY02 or MY03. they are different
