I tinted my windows

I got some tint for the sides for Christmas and recently went out and bought 5% tint for the back window. The back looks like hell cause when I started it was light out and when I got in the car it got dark quick so theres air bubbles and creases everywhere

anyway let me know how it looks...more pics to come after I tint the fronts

yeah...wagons would be easier to tint cause your not leanin over a seat and guessing where the rear tint is going
since it was windy i accidently cut the one window a little short so i patched it with a triangle piece and my roommate creased the other side
ill take a pic of the back when i redo it

not bad for a first time, if you dont want the bubbles make sure you spray a LOT with soapy liquid its easier to squeeze water out than air. and i would trim about 1/8" around the outer edge of the windows it will prolong the life and not peel because of seal and frame less windows. also how much did you tuck into the door i usually put about 1/2" just for good measure. also when you are done putting tints in front dont close the doors for at least 15-20 min let the film stick before touching the seal or it will give you bubbles. gl

i thought of a new way of applying the tint to help eliminate air bubbles so ill post pics up later today when its done
as for the air bubbles in the tint already i was running out of tint applicator...for the one side i applied it with windex haha

yeah...well i got one side of the front on nice and when i took the plastic off and went to apply the tint the wind blew and made the tint stick to itself bad enough to crinkle and turn worthless

so i ripped the tint off my window, went to autozone, and redid my back window with one piece and it looks awesome...no air bubbles

here is a decent on how to apply it, i've used their film on my current and previous car and have no complaints, film keeps its color and decently durable not as good as what tinting shops have but still decent and available at autozone

yeah...the tint i used for the back window is gila static stick or something along those lines...went on pretty nice

i've used that stuff before, it isnt bad. I see walmart has some tint made by black magic which feels alittle thicker.. i might try that since it was cheap.

just did mine yesterday, 5% in the back 35% in the front, i used the black magic tints and it came out great.... then again i have done it 3 times, but this time i bought a separate install kit it came with the sqeegee, spray bottle and a dvd with instructions

you used the same exact stuff i did...the back i had gila strips, then i took that off and used peel and stick
