Ok so I picked up a set of h4 hids tonight. Plugged them in and for some reason they don't work, the highbeams do though. Tested them in another car and they work just fine. Anybody run into a similar issue with there car? Mine is a 96 BD btw. Thanks guys.

i'd check the wiring to the ballast first, sometimes something may not be plugged in all the way

Tried that last night but I will double check it again today.

Check your ground connections. Also check if the lights are positiv or negative controlled. I know that's the case on the BE/BH Chassi.

Got it figured out. Thanks guys!!! Now I just have to put the h3s in my hella 500 and mount them :)

Well originally the guy selling me the hids offered to install them for free. So I took him up on his offer. He could get them to work on my car but they would on his. So when I put them in I just took the plug on the ballast to the bulb and turned it around. Fired right up from there. Just order my h3 3000k lot for my hella 500s from
him :)
