Remote central locking

Hi, I´m new on this forum, and I ve got a problem with my central locking.

I have a legacy III 95 2.2gx

The car is fitted with central locking, but not remote controled. I bought an aftermarket kit from Giordon. now I have to wire the module that came in the kit with the original, the problem is that I cant find the originaly fitted module and I dont even know how it looks like. I need to find it So i can make it work, please help me.

According to the FSM you have to remove the glove box, the back pocket cover, and the instrument panel side cover

Ive done that but didnt find it. Ill keep on looking.

The FSM I'm using is for USDM cars - do you have a LHD or RHD car? Is your central locking mechanism integrated with your driver's lock/key? Maybe you can try tracing the wire from the door.

Ive found it, it was where you told me it would be, sorry about that. Ive managed to get it to work but only unlocking, it still wont lock!

You may have to cut and disable the lock switch that is on the driver's door - it's mechanical based so I doubt it will work together with your remote system.
