I have a japan spec 2002 subaru legacy b4 (twin turbo) does anyone have any idea where I could an OBD2 scanner and software and cable. pretty much all the items i would need to scan ecu and reset the ecu if necessary?. I am in jamaica :smt025

well, if i remember right each country has different OBDII conector. so you would probably need to get it from the country of origin. if not you can order them online.
and also it depends on what you mean by scan. cuz the scanner we had at work (the GENISIS) would tell you EVERY reading the ECU was getting. and you could reset idividule sensors. but that was a few grand.
if you just want to pull/clear codes or check freeze frame data. you can get a scanner for $80 USD.

OBD-II is an American specification. Cars in other countries may or may not conform to OBDII standards. If you look at the label under the hood, it should tell you if your car conforms to OBDII spec or not.
