It was time to get rid of the factory "geo metro " horns and have some "Hey buddy hang up the cellphone and drive !" horns...

I purchased them from Safedrives.com for $60.99 . I used Hella kit #85115.
They have a 300hz and 500hz frequencies at 118db...!!!

I didn't care for the red covers so I painted them to match my new '03 Legacy grille(nighthawk black pearl). I them mounted the horns in the stock locations without clearance issues concerning the grille.
I used the stock wiring/relay & added the extra grounds needed for each horn.

I actually had to use them the day of installation! They are freakin' loud!!! :D

How about a couple audio clips? Maybe one recorded from in front of the car, one from inside?

I could but the quality is never gonna give you real sense of the horns capability.

those are really nice. my cousin has those on his 97 legacy gt. his is red though, so they look nice. yeah, they sounds great.

i, personally, have the airhorns. cheaper and more crazy sounding.

I've heard the supertones, real loud but still a wussy signal over all. Cadillac horns FTW!!! That reminds me, I need to fix my wiring job. Single wire to three horns = less power to each = less volume. Still sounds like a train though.

If you can, do a soundclip, because horn clips actually come out pretty close to the actual sound, just not the volume. I just came up with a dastardly plan. We should do a soundclip gallery for the electrical on the different horns (air horns, hellas, stock, caddi, other).

start it up in general, and I can sticky it, and transfer it to electrical...however, if you start it in electrical, contact GatorGT.

that's a good idea. i'd be glad to take a clip of my airhorns.

is there a section for engine/exhaust clips?

yes, there is. It's in the engine/drivetrain forums, I believe. (it's a sticky)
