Took me a long time to finally get this up, still don't have good pictures of the car for some reason.
So, this car has been a lot of work and time on my part. Basically got it for free from a relative with 48k on it and it was a smokers car and had a ton of dents and dings as well as front fender damage and rear bumper damage....all which had been painted over with acrylic artist paints....
Anyways, I tried as I could to get the smoke smell out by pulling all of the inside dash panels and center console, there was ash everywhere I pulled a panel. I also tried those smoke smell absorbers, and nothing helped....so I replaced everything. Seats (front/rear), brand new carpet and brand new dash panels and center console. I found some rare Volks I couldn't pass up buying and basically the modding started from there  Mod list below:
Interior:
V4 STI front and rear seats
2003-04 Double cup holder center console swap
Wood grain dash custom covered in Carbon Fiber
LED Dash lights, console, and gauges upgrade in Amber
So fresh and so new carpet!
Alpine Ipod only deck
DLS 6 1/2 components up front, DLS 5 1/4 components in the rear
DLS 3 Channel amp
Defi Link gauges (water temp, oil temp, oil press)
Keyless entry added
Custom dark grey floormats
Exterior:
B4 BE5 Sideskirts and rear valances
2003-04 Front bumper conversion
New front fenders
C-West grill (needs to be painted and installed)
Spec-B front lip (needs to be mounted)
Volk SE37K in original and rare flat black (17x8, +32) on Hankook RS2 (225/45/17)
Engine:
Perrin lightweight crank pulley
Flatt Racing intake (uber rare! hehehe)
New headgaskets installed
Optima Redtop
Suspension:
HKS Hipermax LS+ coilovers
Cusco 18mm rear sway bar
Poltek Front & Rear endlinks
Legacy GTB Aluminum front control arms
Whiteline front Rollcenter and Bumpsteer kit
Cusco front and rear strut tower bars
Mine's front under chassis brace (swapping headers soon)
Mine's rear under chassis brace (swapping exhaust soon)
More to come of course, and I'm sure I'm forgetting some stuff

Thanks for the compliments, still got some work to do on it. Thinking of repainting it.....thinking of doing allot of things with it....many of which warrant getting better pictures of it :smt005 Going to recover the door panels as well, but basically, the whole interior is brand new after replacing everything.
What wheels do you have again Airgne?

Yeah I know, it really needs a front lip bad, kinda looks plain without it. I test mounted the Spec B lip, and I think I need somehthing that goes even lower. I'm looking overseas for one now at the moment.

The car is in Virginia right now, plus if I were to swap, I'd want something gold and 18" in size. Though those Enkei's are super nice wheels, why do you want to swap?

They should fit, I believe the side skirts are the same length between sedan and wagon models, its just the front end and rear end where the bumpers are different. I got the coilovers for $500 from a local seller, I know that there is a set of Cusco coilovers on Ebay for $799 I think, which is a pretty good deal.

18's are big depending on what kind of 18 you get. Deep lips or thick edges can alter the perception that they are 18's while effectively filling in the wheel/fender gap more efficiently.

Update:
Ditching the Silkroad Coilovers, and going with some of the best coilovers I've ever owned (when I had my RX8). A beautiful set of HKS Hipermax LS+ coilovers, should be a MUCH better ride

I was sort of thinking that last night too. I'll see how I feel once the new suspension is on, the wheels fitted and the lip is fitted and painted. But, definitely, SERIOUSLY, needs a good tint.

The cusco strut bars aren't anything special to look at, the front one fits like any other strut bar on the market, its just a bit shinier. I actually have the older Cusco bars with the dark grey strut plates, as opposed to the Cusco blue. I don't have any pics of the seats. The front ones bolted in just fine, although the plastic covers for the rear part of the seat brackets don't fit...but really, who cares? The rear seats needed the metal loops bent a little to line up with the bolt holes (easily adjusted with a rubber mallet) and there is a slight gap behind the rear seatback, but its a gap I can't even fit my fingers through, so its not obscene. And trust me, I am super picky about what I put in/on my car, I was VERY satisfied with how everything fit. If you see a good set, pick it up, I highly recommend them.
Love the car,
Green and Gold is underrated itll look fantastic when put together :smt023

Thanks man! Much appreciated. Also, going to switch to the 06/07 WRX 4pot/2pot setup, add a Fujitsubo axel back and pick up some Borla headers and I think I'm pretty much done with the car. I thought about doing a full RHD twin turbo swap (as I saw a front clip with intact dash, wiring harness and eveything needed for the swap), but found that just picking up a used 02/03 WRX is cheaper, lol
good choice on the fujitsubo, ive got one on my wagon, looks and sounds great
jdm head and taillights would be really nice on the green, just sayin

Yeah, the suspension is in, I just have to install it. Plus, still waiting to sell the Volks to pick up the other wheels. The lip is something I still need to order, but I know of a company that has one stateside, so its not a super long waiting period. Though, if I ordered it from Japan, I go through a supplier I know in San Francisco and can get parts in as little as two weeks with no additional shipping costs
The spec B lip can be found on E-Bay sometimes, its just a flat lip with folded sides to it. It didn't really add any depth to the bumper I thought, and didn't look as good as I thought it did. I think on the newer BP/BL Legacies it would look nice, which in all actuality is what it was made for. I think I paid less than $100 for it, I just threw it away as I felt I wasted my money on it (and I didn't take any pics of it either). Kinda felt stupid as I knew I should have spent my money on the Zerosports lip in the first place.

Once you get the gold rims it will look rejuvinated complety...gold on the green will be sick since the stance of your car is perfect....and afterwards then decide on the flat white...once saw a flat rootbeer type color with gold rimslooked pretty unique

Well, the Tommy Kaira Pro R's that I wanted were not the right size, had bubbles in the paint and the labels were peeling off, and the Rota Tokyo replica's aren't made anymore, along with the Zerosports lip :-( So I had to make a few changes! Worked for the best, and saved a bit more money out of it

Will do, I stripped off the 3M DiNoc Carbon Fiber stuff as it started to peel up and wouldn't stick around the corners anymore. So, I'm currently on my 3rd coat of primer, then going to do 3 coats of paint and 3 coats of clear. So far, it looks great! Got the wheels on today, hopefully will get the lip on next week and do a wash and wax once the weather clears. Going to do some shots of the interior too. I always love working on the Legacy :smt023

It will fit the newer 03-04 bumpers with very little modification (if you look closely at the newer model Legacy's and the 03-04 model bumper, you'll see that they follow essentially the same lines). The lower door moldings I had done at a body shop, the car came with some front end damage so I replaced the two front fenders and front bumper and had the moldings done at the same time.

They were full bolt on, holes lined up on the stock bumper no problem :)

I got them from a dealer on Ebay yes, but the parts were ultimately shipped from a seller in Hong Kong. You can also check yahoo Japan auctions as I buy stuff there all the time (its where I got the HKS coilovers and aluminum control arms).

So I finished painting the interior and it turned out waaaaaay better than expected, with the matte clear coat I used, it has more of a "stock" look than a "modified" look. Which is more of what I was going for in the end. Just wish I was able to install my Defi gauges and double DIN system. Having 2 DIN pockets and a single DIN stereo looks weird.
I wasn't able to take pics of the finished interior or the exterior after the wax, had too much to get done before I flew out for work. But the wheels look perfect....just need some brembo's under them  Pics will have to wait a month now :-(

Sorry, got everything finished and then had to fly out for work quite some time ago and I didn't get to take any pics. I love love love the interior now, I'll be driving it out to California in early November hopefully. One of the HKS dampers was leaking, so I sent it into HKS USA for an overhaul....which is pretty much the reason why I went with the HKS suspension instead of keeping with the Silkroad coilovers, I can have the dampers re-valved and repaired stateside
My thoughts right now are to have the car either refinished or repainted as I had put a good coat of wax on the car before I left and it didn't really help it out that much. At the same time or beforehand I will have those annoying fenders professionally rolled and pulled so I can get some better meat on those rims. Being that I will be moving to the L.A. area there will be a better ability to both maintain the car and further modify it to my specifications. Looking forward to the future with this car

Yeah, sorry, it'll be a month before I get pictures of the car out. I'm out for work in California while the car is in Virginia, sucks because I want to drive it and work on it so bad. Its a great little hobby car
I was actually thinking the other day of picking up a BG Legacy sedan, I always liked the look of those, plus suspension components are more swappable between the Impreza and that year of Legacy. We'll see though, I'm having plenty of fun with this one Legacy so far.
