My roommate thinks that the Jeep Liberty is the manliest Jeep you can buy (not kidding) and thinks they are so much better than all other Jeeps.
The rest of my friends and I say that it's a Jeep designed mainly for women and he should get a Cherokee or Wrangler.

Not only that but it's also the CRAPPIEST Jeep. They gave me one for a rental for a couple weeks - the 3.7L V6 was noisy and harsh in all the wrong ways, it had 30k miles and the motor mounts seemed shot. Passenger seat squeaked over every bump in the road when someone sat in it. I want the 4.0L I6 back please!

Never heard of this equation before but its possible he does have a higher grip ratio considering with an open diff and FWD only ONE of his tires ever gets power. LOL. What a useless individual when it comes to things automotive. I would suggest that he never talks about cars again.

jeeps quality and reliablility sucks plus they are gaayyy looking. my math teacher just bought a 2010 liberty (woman) and on the way back from the dealer she threw 2 trouble codes. BAHAHA

There IS one configuration of the Jeep Liberty that is actually rather badass - with the Common Rail Turbo Diesel motor! 295 lb-ft of torque - I was driving next to one the other day and heard some turbo spooling noises and was wondering what the heck was making that cool noise (cause I was coasting not boosting at the time) and I looked over and it was a Jeep Liberty! Too bad this country hates diesels and they pretty much pushed that motor out of the lineup in 2006 with emissions requirements. It's a shame because the PowerTech V6 totally sucks, I think the CRD is the one to get.

The Liberty with a CRD MIGHT be a man's Jeep - maybe if it also had a 6-speed manual option...
