so ive had to do a new clutch and am changing the gearbox oil. i want to know what you guys have used and like or dont like. ive heard things about synthetic shifting smoother but some have friction modifiers which dont help. so any comments or advice would be great

I've always run straight Dino 80-90W with no issues at all.

I'm using dino 80w90 right now and it is very notchy when cold. Like, really bad. Downshifting to 2nd when going around a corner is pretty difficult even with rev matching. I only put it in there temporarily with the intention of flushing it out after 1000 mi or so since the tranny had been sitting for quite a while before I got it. It'll get replaced with synthetic, probably Redline MT90. I've used that in the past, and it has noticably improved shifting on all the previous vehicles I've used it on.

we've found the Typical cocktail some people use really doesn't like being piss pounded. My friend had the cocktail in his 2.5RS and after a few laps on the ice race track it started making funny noises and feeling notchy.
