On a budget and need a used set of rims and tires and found 2 sets for sale in the area: I have a white 1999 2.5GT BD

02 WRX 16" wheels with life in the tires for: $200

04 WRX 17" wheels with no life left in the tires for: 2 of my stock rims and tires plus $200

one of my current wheels cracked and haven't seen a replacement like it. Thanks

those 17's are 17x7 and were originally used on the jdm b4's. As for which one, if you can afford the tires and dont mind the drawbacks of running bigger wheels, 17's are a better deal

If your on a budget...I say go with the 02 ones...
yes the 17" look badass, but as soon as you get them, you'll have to spend more money to get them on your car.
I made this mistake with my snowflakes. Took me over 2 months to get them on cause I had to get tires.

Go 16", tons of tire options available.

Is your car lowered?

I think the 17s look amazing, but the 16s is financially friendlier

yeah that's the problem... I really like the 17"s but will need to spend $550 on some decent tires fairly soon with them.

Not lowered, considering it. I may not if my outback sway bar gives enough turning performance, I think I'll install that today.

Sounds like a job for the photoshop junkies to me.

The winner is the 17"s!

The guy selling the 16"s never got back to me and found out my tax return made it financially possible

I'd say you made a good choice. The 17s look better and aren't as common.
