so someone locally is selling a 94 loyal for 300 it runs but he said the timing belt needs to be replaced before it snaps so how hard is it to change a timing belt on one of those? is it like changing it on a 2.2 liter? is it interface? and are the reliable? i dont really care about power or speed to much just 4x4, thanks

dont know about interference, i would guess not.

a running/driving loyal for 300 bucks, assuming the awd/4x4 works and not rusted to shit it a great deal, i would jump on it, if i were on the other side of the country.

ok cool looks pretty easy, but im going to do it in the car so it might be a little harder, do i have to take the harmonic balancer off or do the covers come off without taking em off? and i hear they are slow is there any upgrades i can do? i have an msd multispark ignition box and wires im going to put in it and maybe just gut the cat and change the muffler, and take out the stock air filter and just clamp a cone filter on the end of the pipe but is there anything else i can do cheap/free?
