Searched a lil bit first, but i didnt find an answer. Was wondering how the factory warranty worked with the Genuine Subaru Performance Parts. Can i install them myself or do they have to do all the work in order to keep my warranty? First car i ever had that has a warranty so i dont know much about this subject.

im not sure about your warranty but with mine (and most likely others as well) if you do any work to your car and it fails, it wont be covered under your vehicles warranty

say you install jdm turn signals and you wired them wrong, causing them to short and burn the car to the ground...it wont be covered

I'm not sure how exactly Subaru works, but I know with Mazdaspeed parts they had different levels of warrantys on the parts themselves, as they were not covered under the factory warranty. But basically, even if they are parts you can buy from the dealer, they are still considereed modifications. Basically, if there is a failure that occurs as a result of the modification, it won't be covered under your warranty. But, like all modifications, your warranty cannot be completely void as a result of modification, they can only deny specific warranty claims if the failure occurs as a result of the modification. Basically, the only way you can be certain that your warranty won't be affected is to leave the car bone stock.
