Subaru (???) (pronounced 'soo-ba-roo') is the automobile manufacturing division and brand name of Japanese transportation conglomerate Fuji Heavy Industries (FHI).

I thought its 5 companies that formed FHI. 5 + 1 = 6 stars.. You know the story.. Japan had to retire there military/navy and sink whatever they had. Military manufactures had no choice to but combine and create an auto/machinery division. After they formed they pulled all the sunken ships and rolled car after car off the assembly line. Shipped out to North America and rusted to shit... Until the mid-90's.
